Employees of agricultural enterprises of Udmurtia are preparing for the Interregional Agro.PRO-2021 Agricultural Festival. It is planned that the farm livestock from the republic will be evaluated by experts from the USA, Hungary and the Republic of South Africa (South Africa). A competition of farm livestock will be held as a part of the festival, where 40 breeding farms and reproducers of the region will participate. Experts have already started the selection and preparation of livestock for the event.
The judges of the competition will be Bruce James Braithwaite from South Africa and Tamás Schebek from Hungary, who previously judged several events in Europe. The arrival of the international judge of specialized beef breeds of cattle P.J. Badler from the USA is also expected. He came to Udmurtia in 2019, and he was a judge during an online exhibition of farm animals last year.
A show-ring of exterior and complex assessment of beef cattle will be held at the exhibition area as a part of the forum.
In total, more than 100 cattle will be presented at Agro.PRO-2021, there will be sheep, minks, fish, poultry and breeding bees.
Children will also perform at the exhibition – winners of the correspondence stage of the children's competition for farm livestock and poultry, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Udmurtia launched in the Year of the Village.
