Six tourism projects from Udmurtia received over 12 million rubles in the presidential grant competition. It was reported by the press office of the head and government of the region.
1.9 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the project “Dondy Vakyt” (Period of Dondy) from the Glazovsky district. They will launch a competition for applications for gadgets “Dondy technology” – children will create and will replenish local history material. As a result of the project implementation, locations will appear at the park “Dondy Dor” that will help to study the traditions and culture of the Udmurt people in a playful way. Using digital technologies children see how their ancestors lived.
The project “Hraniteli” from the Igrinsky district received a grant worth 4.6 million rubles. It is planned to create four technically equipped sites for the “Laboratory of traditional culture”, based on the reformatting of the clubs' activities, including work with intangible cultural heritage. Thanks to the project, new tourist places will appear in Udmurtia.
The project “Raznotsvetnye Saramaki” from the Kiznersky district received 499.7 thousand rubles. Thanks to its implementation, a tourist route will be created with a visit to three multi-ethnic villages of the Kizner district: Udmurt Saramak, Russian Saramak and Mari Saramak.
376.6 thousand rubles were received by the project “Istoriya odnogo zavoda” from the Krasnogorsk district. They plan to equip an interactive museum room in the village Valamaz about the history of the glass factory. And an inter-district festival “Kaleidoscope of talents” will be held by the end of June 2022.
The project “Sibirskiy tract v miniature” from the Selty district received 2.7 million rubles for the creation of a historical park zone with a stylized section of the Tsar's road and models of architectural monuments in miniature (they will be made of wood), including four preserved and five lost objects, located in the southern branch of the Siberian tract. Excursions are planned in the park, and the place “Cultural Fridays” will be opened.
The project from the Yarsky district “Ethnocultural center “Gubi Tur” (“Mushroom tour “) received a grant of 2.2 million rubles. In the region, it is planned to organize tours with the provision of guest services in national villages, which will preserve the “dying” settlements, cuisine and traditions. Training seminars on the basics of hospitality “School of the folk excursion companion” will be held as a part of the project; as a result, a network of guest houses will be created in the Yarsky district.
