The novel of the Udmurt writer «Izhevsk Nights» was published in the Czech Republic. The Press and Mass Communications Agency of Udmurtia reports this.
«Izhevsk Nights» is an adapted name for the Czech public, invented by the publisher. The original name of the Udmurt story sounds «Above the night – butterflies». Such a change of name helps readers to immediately get acquainted with the place of artistic narration.
Note that the works of Vyacheslav Ar-Sergi are not translated for the first time into foreign languages. His prose and poetry were printed in Montenegro, Hungary, Estonia, Belarus, as well as in Tatarstan in the Tatar language, in Chuvashia in the Chuvash language, in Mari El – in the Mari language.
