The signing of documents on cooperation between the government of the republic and the Association for the Development of Clusters and Tech parks of Russia took place on April 24 at the residence of the Нead of Udmurtia. The Head of the region Alexander Brechalov shared his opinion on signing an agreement with journalists.

The agreement was discussed at a meeting with nearly 300 entrepreneurs. Udmurtia is still in the «non-achiever», in the laggards, with the available opportunities and potential. More than 40 regions are actively fighting for financial and methodological support in the association. It helps in the implementation of projects. There are areas, powerful enterprises and new projects in the republic. But all of this is difficult to put together. The Association is working on this problem with high quality and efficiently. It interacts with the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Therefore, Udmurtia needs to correct the situation and make up the lost ground
Alexander Brechalov, the Head of Udmurtia

Alexander Brechalov used Tatarstan as an example. Their industrial parks brought more than 200 billion rubles to the total gross product of the region. In this case, the conversion in taxes amounted to 18-20 billion rubles. For comparison, the consolidated budget of Udmurtia is 67 billion rubles.

The association has been cooperating with Udmurtia for several years. Its experts visited the republic. <...> The Association will provide full support to the region for the implementation of national projects. As part of the agreement, discussions were held on mechanisms for supporting small and medium-sized businesses with Alexander Brechalov. We talked for a long time. The longest is about the development of a tech park in Udmurtia
Andrey Shpilenko, the Director of the Association for the Development of Clusters and Tech parks of Russia

The Association for the Development of Clusters and Tech parks of Russia was founded in 2011. It is the country's leading social and business organization. It includes more than 80 members from 41 subjects of Russia.

Association experts will help relevant ministries in creating industrial clusters. These are in many cities of Russia. The business received about 10 billion rubles due to the implementation of joint cluster projects in the last two years only. Large-scale companies of the country are ready to invest in it thanks to the huge potential of Udmurtia. There are «Technest», «Rusklimat» and others among them. At the moment, mechanisms are being created to reduce costs when investing in projects. There is also a huge potential in the region for creating industrial clusters on the basis of defense industry enterprises.

The First Deputy Prime Minister of Udmurtia Alexander Svinin will deal with the implementation of the agreements. And Alexander Brechalov will personally control

Recall that Udmurtia signed contracts with the Federal Road Agency earlier.
