3 503 schoolchildren of grades 1-4 of educational institutions of Udmurtia took part in the first Republican academic competition on information security “CyberBober” (6+). The press office of the head and government of the region reported it.
3,503 people have passed academic competition. This is a very high figure – more than 50%, but we hope that next year the percentage will be higher
The academic competition “CyberBober” is held with the aim of developing children's skills for safe behavior on the Internet, search and selection of information. It also functions as an educational project for children 7-10 years old and adults in the field of safe use of the Internet and social networks.
The project “CyberBober” aims to draw the attention of adults to the problem of information literacy and show the need for responsible behavior on the Internet in an engaging and accessible form for children
Children from five towns and 24 municipal districts of Udmurtia solved training tasks and learned the rules of safe and responsible behavior on the Internet before the academic competition. The day of execution of “CyberBober” was held on March 27th. Its results will be published by April 20 on the organizers' website.
