5,873 state-funded places were allocated for the 2021-2022 academic year at the universities of Udmurtia. Their amount has increased by 536 units compared to last year, 500 of them are for bachelors. The press ofice of the head and government of the region reported it.
2,430 students will be able to study free of charge at Udmurt State University, it is 302 more than in 2020. Izhevsk State Technical University named after M. T. Kalashnikov will provide 1,428 places, last year there were 96 less places. Izhevsk State Medical Academy has increased by 50 budget places (485). Glazov State Pedagogical Institute trained 463 people on a budgetary basis last year, this year it will accept 585 students. 945 people will be able to study free at Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy.
There are more places in areas related to the development of the digital economy, as well as in pedagogical areas, computer and information sciences, physics, chemistry and oil and gas business.
