A graduate of Glazova gymnasium No. 6 Alena Solodunova became the absolute winner of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Ecology. It was reported by the press office of the town administration.
On August 5, the graduate received a diploma from the hands of the mayor of the town Sergey Konovalov and the chairman of the Town Duma Igor Volkov.
According to the press office, Alena Solodunova is the author of a study on the quality of water in the river Cheptsa.
At the meeting, the administration discussed the town's plans to participate in the project “Clean Water” as a part of the national project “Ecology” initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the idea of deepening the Cheptsa line and the construction of treatment facilities in Balezino. Alena Solodunova has a lot of achievements and awards: a diploma-recognition of the international jury in the Moscow State University research competition “Scientists of the Future”; she is the author of the project for the development of the Arctic and the World Ocean, which won the scientific and educational program “Big Challenges” and was chosen by the World Wildlife Fund for further implementation, as well as a multiple winner and winner of scientific and practical conferences and Olympiads at town, regional and all-Russian levels.
Now the graduate is preparing to enter the university.
