Schools of digital skills “Lift to the Future” will appear in Udmurtia. Training in them will be free. The press office of the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic reported it.
The program “Lift to the Future” is aimed at developing modern engineering education in Russia and creating a social “lift” for schoolchildren in different regions of the country.
In Udmurtia, the project is being implemented in the Izhevsk school No. 80 named after V.S. Tarasov and Sarapul Lyceum No. 18. Now, educational organizations prepare vocational guidance classes: they carry out repairs and equip them with computer equipment.
Training will start from November this year.
As part of the course, students will master one of the most relevant programming languages - Python. Pupils will be able to study not only theory, but also use the acquired skills in solving real problems, and will also hone their ability to work in teams and manage projects.
The program “Lift to the Future’ is already being implemented in Bashkiria, Rostov and Kostroma regions. By the end of this year, it is planned to educate 2.4 thousand children from eight regions of Russia.
Other schools of Udmurtia can also join the project. They will be provided with methodological vocational guidance materials for use.
