Tourists from Udmurtia raised the flag of the Zavyalovsky district on Elbrus. A participant Pavel Ipatov told the news agency “Udmurtia” about the trip.
Pavel was engaged in mountain tourism from 2006 to 2012. For a while, he had to give up his hobby –the family was in the first place. Now Pavel Ipatov decided to remember his youthful years and climb the highest mountain in Russia. The trip was coordinated with the republic's tourism federation. We recruited a group of medium difficulty for beginners.
We climbed to a height of 4,500 meters, but we did not manage to climb the top of Elbrus – the Ministry of Emergency Situations was not allowed due to weather conditions
Pavel works as a sports instructor in the Zavyalovsky district, and that’s the reason he raised the municipality flag on Elbrus.
