From January 17 to 19, 2020, the All-Russian competition-festival "Italmas priglashaet" will be held in the Udmurt State Philharmonic. The director of the institution Alexey Fomin reported on his page on the VKontakte social network.
The event was made possible thanks to a presidential grant of 3 million 681 thousand rubles. This is one of the largest grants won in Udmurtia. The total cost of the project amounted to more than 5 million rubles
In addition to competitive competitions, six master classes will be held within the framework of the festival, and jury members will conduct seminars.
The chairman of the board was Honored Artist of Russia, ballet dancer Vladimir Moiseev. All members of the jury are leading masters of folk dance, teachers, and leaders of creative groups.
The festival will result in three gala concerts in Votkinsk, Sarapul and Izhevsk. The winners of the competition and artists of the State Academic Ensemble and Song and Dance of the Italmas Republic will take part in them.
Young dancers from the studio schools of Krasnodar, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Arkhangelsk, Izhevsk, Syktyvkar plan to take part in the competition.
