Izhevsk designers will develop a corporate identity for the Museum of Fine Arts. The press office of the Center for Territorial Development of Udmurtia reports that there will a school of practical design “Reform” in the capital of the republic from July 31 to August 2.
The Museum of Fine Arts is the only art museum in the Udmurt Republic. This year the museum turns 40. In recent years, we have been actively developing and cooperating with museums and collectors from all over Russia. However, the museum still doesn’t have a corporate design that would allow us to declare ourselves and stand out among other museums in Russia and the world. In addition, we would like the museum to become an important place on the map of urban cultural life and a real center of attraction for the townspeople, since our visitors are, first of all, residents of Izhevsk. And the first step towards achieving our goals will be participation in the “Reform”
The designers will be divided into three teams, for each of them an art director will be appointed. Participants will be immersed in the context of the museum and introduced to the terms of reference. Based on the results of the work, the teams will present a corporate design: creating a font, a template for designing pages on social networks, posters, tickets, etc.
The process will be led by art directors from the British Higher School of Design, co-founders of the holystick.design studio (Moscow): Mila Silenina, Yana Etkina and Yulia Kondratyeva.
