Another book from Udmurtia became a winner of the All-Russian competition. The press office of the head and government of the region reports that the publication was published as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the republic's statehood.
The laureate diploma and the winner's statuette were awarded to the work “Udmurtskaya narodnaya kuhnya” in the nomination “Publication contributing to the dialogue of cultures”.
The competition was held as a part of the 25th Interregional Book Festival “The Reading World” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Yesenin. More than 190 publications were presented in 10 nominations. Representatives from 31 regions of Russia and nine foreign countries took part.
About 250 events were held as part of the book festival. There were also presentations of the publishing house “Udmurtia” and the book of the author from the republic A. V. Kononov “Kaplya krovi”.
This is the only national book festival in Russia. And it is gratifying that on the centenary of the publishing house we completed our events in Ryazan and adequately represented Udmurtia at the Russian level
