The first books for creating a model library have been dekivered to the Central Llibrary named after N.K. Krupskaya in Sarapul. They were purchased as a part of the national project “Culture”, initiated by the country's President Vladimir Putin. It was reported by the press office of the head and government of Udmurtia.
Now employees of the institution are processing more than four thousand new publications.
According to the national project, the Sarapul library will have comfortable spaces and platforms for the work of clubs and associations of interests for creativity, exchange of experience and communication in an informal setting.
It is planned to introduce automated electronic services and services, install a kiosk for receiving and issuing books, an information touch panel, replace furniture in the cinema by the end of 2020, and for visitors with disabilities an accessible environment and install a ramp for visiting departments on the second floor and cinema hall will be organized.
Also, the library will buy about 6.5 thousand books worth 3 million rubles.
