A monument to the mythical founder of the town has been unveiled in Mozhga. The press office of the town administration reported it in the social network.
The monument was erected for the 100th anniversary of the republic's statehood. It was placed at the central square of the town.
A group of Town Duma deputies, local history historians of Udmurtia and Mozhga, artists, social activists worked on its creation. They studied historical facts and discussed alleged sketches.
The main goal of the working group was to create a unique image of the monument, reflecting the history, originality and culture of the Mozhgin people
The member of the Union of artists of Russia, honored art worker of Udmurtia, laureate of the state prize of the republic, laureate of the Ministry of internal affairs of Russia in the field of art and literature Pavel Medvedev became the sculptor of the monument.
