An athlete from Udmurtia Alexander Ivshin won the Russian cross-country skiing championship among juniors (19-20 years old). This is reported by the Center for Sports Training of the Republic on the social network.
Competitions are held in Kirovo-Chepetsk from 17 to 21 March.
The skier wins the 10 km individual race in classic style.
The representative of Tatarstan Alexey Loktinov became the second. The athlete from the Nizhny Novgorod region Nikita Rodionov completed the top three.
Skiers will run the relay race 4x3 km (girls) and 4x5 km (boys) On March 20. A freestyle mass start will take place at a distance of 15 km (girls) and 30 km (boys) on the final day of the competition.
