The construction of an interschool stadium and a physical culture and recreation complex was completed in the village of Grakhovo in Udmurtia on June 29. Athletics facilities were opened on the eve of the Republican Summer Rural Games-2021 (0+). The press office of the head and government of the region informed about that.
The construction of the interschool stadium were begun in 2020 with the participation of funds from the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
There are a football field, running tracks, a jumping pit, sports grounds for volleyball and basketball, stands for 800 seats, and a hockey rink at the athletics facilities. The territory around the stadium has been improved.
Construction of the sports complex was begun in 2020 – this is the largest sports complex in the municipality. Here people can play basketball, volleyball, mini-football, and there is also a gym. Changing rooms and a medical office were equipped, and internal stands were installed at the facility.
