Two major sporting events will be held in Udmurtia as a part of the 100th anniversary of statehood – the All-Russian Athletic Marathon “Source of Kama - 100” and international competitions in shooting from airguns among Russian regions and Finno-Ugric peoples. This was reported by the press office of the head and government of the region.
Mass events are allowed only at the third stage of elimination of restrictions; Udmurtia today – at the second stage. In the case of the transition to the third stage, a separate implementation plan should be drawn up for each event, taking into account strict compliance with all sanitary norms and rules
“The source of Kama – 100” can be held on August 22. Participants will walk 1.3 km and receive a souvenir at the finish.
In October, it is planned to hold international air shooting competitions among the regions of Russia and the Finno-Ugric peoples.
Some of the activities were canceled due to the epidemiological situation. There are among them: the international festival of extreme sports (skate, roller sport, BMX) and the VI All-Russian festival of national and non-Olympic sports. Over 700 athletes from all over Russia were to take part.
