Two athletes from Udmurtia became prize-winners of shooting competitions in the Moscow region. The press office of the Russian Shooting Union reported that the Russian Championship and the All-Russian Bullet Shooting Competition were held on August 29 and 30.
The world champion in the discipline, the merited master of sports Yulia Karimova from Udmurtia won a victory in shooting from a small-bore rifle from three positions at a distance of 50 m on the first day of the finals. International master of sports Daria Boldinova from the Moscow region fought for the first place with her to the last. However, a mistake in the final shot earned her second place. The third place was taken by the prize-winner of international competitions, master of sports of international class Daria Vdovina (Arkhangelsk region).
In the team competition, the team of the republic became the second after the national team of the Moscow region.
The champion was the medalist of international competitions, master of sports of international class Daria Vdovina, representing the Arkhangelsk region on the final day of the competition in shooting from a small-bore rifle from a prone position at a distance of 50 m among women. The master of sports of international class Tatyana Podshibyakina from the Moscow region was the second, and the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, the merited master of sports Maria Feklistova from Udmurtia became the third prize-winner.
In the team competition, the regional team took the first place.
