Sights of Udmurtia take part in voting “Treasures of Russia” from the National Geographic Traveler magazine (18+). The press office of the Izhevsk administration reported it.
The project will help not only to identify the main attractions and the most popular places and objects of the country, but also to open new points on the tourist map.
Voting takes place in ten main nominations. There are objects from Udmurtia in nine nominations.
So, the republic is represented by “Etapnaya izba” in the village of Bachkeevo in the section “Cultural and historical object”, traditional weaving is in the nomination “Folk craft”. Perepechi got 5% of votes in the nomination “National cuisine”, and the region is represented by the Central Square of Izhevsk in the section “Public space”. Udmurtia is represented by the Nechkinsky national park in the nomination “Natural object”, and Udmurtia is represented by rafting on the Loza river in the nomination “River and sea cruise”. Gerbera celebration got into the nomination “Traditional holiday, event or festival”, and the route of climbing the town of Baigurez is in the nomination “Tourist trail”. The Siberian tract may become an excursion route.
